Tideland members may purchase a Trickle Star energy monitor at any of our four offices. The cost is $29.98 plus NC sales tax and will be added to your electric bill. If you are a FlexPay member, the cost of the monitor will be deducted from your prepay balance the next day so be sure to bump up your account balance enough to cover the cost of the device.

The Kill-A-Watt monitor (shown above) may be borrowed from the cooperative. We will bill your account $30.00. When the monitor is returned the $30.00 will be credited back to your account. The unit comes with detailed step-by-step instructions. Be sure not to unplug the monitor until you have obtained the readings because the unit has no built in memory and will lose the data once the unit is unplugged.
