Energy Star Manufactured Housing $1,250 Rebate (rebate request form pending)
Manufactured housing just got much more affordable. Beginning March 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012, any qualifying Tideland EMC member who purchases and takes occupancy of an Energy Star rated manufactured home will receive a $1,250 rebate. In addition to the immediate cash back, homebuyers will save about $74 a month --- or $888 a year --- on utility bills compared to similarly sized non-Energy Star rated homes. Air conditioners or heat pumps installed on the home must have a minimum cooling efficiency rating of 14 SEER and be properly sized.
Rebates are for primary residences only. Vacation or rental homes and commercial properties do not qualify.

- Constructed by certified home builder and inspected by independent
energy expert
Fridge & Freezer Farewell Program
- Must be a Tideland EMC member
- Must own the refrigerator or freezer
- $50 electric bill credit per appliance
- Must be working and cooling
- Must be a secondary unit
- Appliance must be picked up from the residential address listed on the account
- Must be 10-30 cubic feet
- Must have valid account number
- Limit of two appliances recycled per member annually
